Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their personal goals.
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavioral changes.
- Manage cases effectively by coordinating services and resources for clients.
- Offer crisis intervention services to assist clients in urgent situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within various systems, including healthcare and social services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in social work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, and crisis intervention are essential.
- Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and special education principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
