Responsibilities
- Making home visits to evaluate a child's living conditions and patterns of parent-child interaction.
- Preparing a social or emotional development assessnment of the child within the family context.
- Identifying, mobilizing, and coordinating community resource and services to enable child and family to receive maximum benefit from Early Intervention Services.
- Assisting the family of a child understanding the special needs of the child and enchancing the child's development.
- Maintain accurate records and report on the childs’ status
- Attend Meetings and Conferences
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Social Worker
- Working knowledge of social theories and practices
- Social perceptiveness and empathy
- Active License or Certification
- Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
- Resilience along with ability to assess situations
- Reliable form of transportation
- BS degree in social work (BSW), psychology or sociology
- Updated and Active Liability Insurance
