Morrow County Health District (MCHD) is seeking an occasional part-time Human Resources Assistant. The is a hybrid location with on-site work located at MCHD Administrative Offices in Heppner, OR.
Pay ranges from $20.00 - $30.00/ HOUR, DOQ. Standard 4-month probationary period. Potential for flexible hours and days within regular business hours. Remote work available approximately for 30% of hours.

Primary Responsibilities Include The Following
- Assist the HR Director with clerical duties such as: sending, tracking, following up on paperwork, personnel actions and reporting.
- Maintaining personnel files and support with dual maintenance during HRIS conversion.
- Upload documents, manual entry into systems, and pulling information for reporting.
- Answer calls, email, incoming requests, review mail, prepare invoices and emails, and ensure efficient operation of the department.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year working in a business office or performing administrative tasks, preferably in a confidential position.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and typing.
- May consider combination of some college for experience.
