We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including managing schedules, organizing files, and preparing documents.
- Assist with financial tasks such as account reconciliation, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks for data entry and report generation.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to financial transactions.
- Handle 10 key typing tasks efficiently for data entry purposes.
- Support public accounting functions as needed, collaborating with team members on various projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial concepts and experience with account reconciliation is preferred.
- Familiarity with journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in a public accounting environment is an advantage but not required.

Pay: $18.14 - $45.00 per hour
