What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horticultural and Grounds Beautification position at MorseLife Health Systems?
· Floral Arrangements:
o Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for the common areas, dining rooms, resident rooms, and special events at the Tradition and Palace.
- Maintains and refreshes arrangements regularly to ensure they remain vibrant and fresh.
- Grounds Maintenance Coordination:
- Collaborates with external landscaping companies to ensure aesthetic appeal and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
- Monitors the quality of work performed by landscaping services and provides feedback as necessary.
- Develop and implement seasonal landscaping plans to enhance the grounds' appearance.
- Indoor Plant Care:
- Select, place, and maintain indoor plants throughout the facilities to promote a healthy and inviting atmosphere.
- Monitors plant health by watering and fertilizing plants as needed, and replacing plants that are not thriving.
- Campus Beautification:
- Executes a comprehensive beautification plan for the campus, including seasonal decorations and special projects.
- Works with facility management to identify areas for improvement and implement beautification initiatives.
- Ensures all decorative elements align with the overall aesthetic and theme of the buildings.
- Regularly tour the campus to inspect aesthetics, functionality, furniture placement, and overall beauty, submitting work orders for needed improvements and repairs.
- Grounds Cleanup:
- Participates in regular grounds cleanup activities to maintain a neat and orderly appearance.
- Remove debris, fallen leaves, and other materials that detract from the beauty of the campus.
- All other duties as assigned.
