Scheduling Support Specialist
· Location: Orlando, FL (100% On-Site)

· Schedule: Core business hours: Monday through Friday (7:00 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST); flexibility for operational needs may be required.
Training Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM may be required initially.

· Pay rate: Up to $25.00 per hour/ W2

Job Summary:
The Scheduling Support Specialist assists the Master Scheduling Team in planning and executing short-term schedules to optimize material and resource flow within operations. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, operational capacity, and the mitigation of constraints.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, repair line management, and customer support, is essential to maintaining schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
Role Overview:
This hybrid role (50% Warehouse, 50% Office) serves as the liaison between the warehouse and the Master Scheduling team. The specialist will work closely with the Master Scheduling team to ensure timely project completion and provide necessary support to the repair/warehouse team to finalize projects efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to transition from warehouse work to an office environment. The role is critical to maintaining production schedules and minimizing disruptions.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with supply chain, repair station, and customer support teams based on Master Scheduling direction, ensuring alignment of capacity and SLA requirements.
- Monitor adherence to schedules and resolve bottlenecks or resourcing conflicts.
- Expedite constraints to the master schedule (Receiving, Shipping, Order Fulfillment, Repair Station) based on guidance from the Master Scheduler.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews and analysis to determine causes of missed opportunities.
- Pull and analyze data from ERP systems to support schedule accuracy and decision-making.
- Identify areas for improvement in scheduling processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of schedule-related data in SAP or other planning systems.
- Communicate delays, changes, or risks to schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Support, maintain, and develop reporting requirements, including but not limited to schedule adherence, lead times, OTD, and operational throughput.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, for scheduling and planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Experience in aviation, high-tech, or repair station environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in scheduling, logistics, or supply chain roles (highly recommended).
- APICS CPIM certification or equivalent.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
