The experienced and dynamic Sales and Catering Associate will be responsible for driving catering sales, managing client relationships, implementing grassroots marketing strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of events. What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

· Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve catering revenue targets.

· Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, and build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.

· Event Coordination: Collaborate with clients to plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including menu selection, venue setup, and service details, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

· Contract Negotiation: Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and negotiate contracts for catering services, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and align with company policies.

· Grassroots Marketing: Develop and execute grassroots marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and community engagement. This includes participating in local events, partnering with community organizations, and creating unique promotional campaigns to generate word-of-mouth referrals.

· Team Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff in accordance with company policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service.

· Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

· Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, providing insights into performance metrics and areas for improvement.

What You Bring (Requirements):

· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

· Proven experience in catering sales or a related sales role.

· Strong sales and negotiation skills.

· Knowledge of catering industry trends, pricing, and customer preferences.

· Experience in developing and implementing grassroots marketing strategies.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Customer service attitude.

· Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances.

· Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays.

You’ll Stick Out If You Have:

· Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus.
