Mortenson is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be the point of contact for assigned business groups and will provide support to the Human Resources Generalist team, assisting with a variety of items.
- Acts as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business groups
- Supports leaders and team members on people management issues by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating, and implementing potential solutions, and coaching/counseling leaders and team members
- Partner with Center of Excellence teams to implement HR programs and initiatives
- Partner with team to solve employee relations issues
- Support Talent Partner team with various special projects such as legal research, policy rollouts or high-performing team sessions
- Focal point for the deployment of core HR processes such as compensation planning, performance reviews, and other HR initiatives
- Have acute attention to detail/accuracy and written communication skills
- Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrate effective oral communication and active listening skills and are comfortable interacting with a variety of individuals via various methods (in-person, phone, email)
- Have a positive and professional attitude and sound customer service skills
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Education Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or a related field
- Minimum four years of Human Resources experience, or related field
