Mortenson Construction Marketing Manager in Denver, Colorado
Marketing Manager SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Marketing Manager that will provide oversight of the entire proposal process including coordinating scheduling, assigning marketing resources, monitoring workflow, and producing and approving final proposal documents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision
Collaborate with supervisor (Senior Marketing Manager) and marketing team to manage 2-3 specific deadline-driven proposals at any given time.
Facilitate meetings with marketing coordinators, business development, Design Phase managers, construction executives and operations group leaders to develop proposals and graphics that address target audience requirements and hot buttons.
Guide marketing team in developing and refining a strategy for the proposal process and content, which involves acting as a consultant / facilitator from pre-proposal to presentation stages.
Oversee the implementation of day-to-day marketing efforts including marketing materials development, distribution of press releases, award submittals, customer events, and other marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or Communications strongly preferred.
Minimum 7 years of proposal development and / or marketing management experience.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the following with or without an accommodation : sitting, seeing, hearing, and utilization of a computer and office equipment. The working environment consists of indoor and climate-controlled settings.
BENEFITS

The base pay range for this role is $79,600 - $119,400. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
