Project Manager

M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a FT Project Manager based at our company HQ in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Project Manager provides overall leadership direction to construction projects, including the management of financial health, project quality, timeliness, and safety, as well as mentoring the project team.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working in the construction industry.

Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) interpreting project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons; (2) performing quality control inspections and engineering field support on all phases of construction; (3) working on the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of battery energy storage systems for alternative energy construction projects; (4) working on fire alarm design and on-site commissioning for battery storage systems and working with Authorities having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure fire alarm system design and construction comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and state and local regulations; (5) coordinating with multinational companies on the design and construction of battery storage projects to ensure the delivery of systems that meet all technical specifications; and (6) working with the following tools and technologies: Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Oracle Fusion Applications, Bluebeam Revu 20, Autodesk Revit, and Asta Powerproject.

All experience may have been gained concurrently. May work in various unanticipated locations in the United States. Salary: $136,032 to $166,100/year.
