Mortenson's Minneapolis Operating Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with the ability to engage with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. As a Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership direction to a project, including the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. This position will cover projects in and around the greater Fargo, North Dakota area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organization, flexibility, excellent customer focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to :
Manage the overall financial health of projects
- Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
- Allocate project estimate into financial system
- Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions
- Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
- Create monthly owner billings
- Maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
- Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)
Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
Execute change orders

The base pay range for this role is $110,700 - $166,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
