Job Summary:
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with various staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support supervision through the preparation, monitoring, and updating of area schedules, as well as assisting site management to formulate action plans to correct scheduling problems
- Draft and computerize schedule network diagrams, monitoring and eliminating potential problems
Requirements:
- Minimum two years construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred
- Must be proficient in P6
- Construction operations experience strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles and practices
- Proven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems essential
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions
- Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
- Minimum of two (2) years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience as a project engineer is desirable
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
