Responsibilities :
- Obtain all necessary property and loan documentation for every file, including evidence of insurance, verification of employment, payoffs, credit supplements, tax transcripts, condo questionnaires, title work, and subordination requests and to make sure the loan process goes smoothly
- Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
- Handle all borrower communication from the point of contract to closing the loan
- Handle the loan pipeline and ensure an efficient and compliant flow throughout the loan process
- Follow up on loan documentation ordered in a timely manner to ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met Qualifications :
- Can correctly analyze and interpret income, and asset documents, credit reports, and the variety of ways to structure a loan
- Has worked in a lender’s environment and has experience using Encompass LOS software
- Minimum 2 years mortgage processing experience, 5 preferred
- Solid understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA / VA / CONV / USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- This is not a remote position Compensation : $50,000 yearly
