Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- Assist in document review and analysis for ongoing cases.
- Support the counsel in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members on litigation strategies and case preparation.
- Prepare summaries of findings from research and present them to the attorney.
- Engage in various administrative tasks to support the law firm's operations.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with attorneys.
- Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.
