Summary
Analyzes prints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare product estimates for review by account manager. Estimator will rely on instruction from senior colleague(s) and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Must become well versed in company manufacturing and process capabilities.
Essential Functions
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Qualifications
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associates or Bachelors in Manufacturing Technologies, Accounting, Business, or Finance.
3 years' experience in a cost accounting or analysis position in a manufacturing environment. Multi-plant is a plus.
3 years' experience with tube, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Along with understanding of the operations/processes required to complete the finished product.
Background knowledge of different types of metals used in various construction, mining and agriculture equipment.
Experience with manufacturing ERP software. EPICOR or Syteline ERP is a plus.

- Review of customer design and specifications for manufacturability.
- Review parts for design intent and capabilities.
- Moderate proficiency using Microsoft Office suite or equivalent.
- All other duties as assigned.
