Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company and will provide administrative support across the organization. This position is great for a college student due to its flexibility in hours and down time.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer, screen, forward incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and bookkeeping as admin needs back up
- Clean office area, breakroom and bathroom weekly
- Work well with all mechanics in shop- ask questions, provide day to day assistance as needed.
Requirements and skills
- Proficiency with computers and multiphone lines
- Knowledge of filing systems to maintain organized records
- Data entry skills for updating information accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle calls professionally
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree is a plus
- Some basic knowledge with vehicle mechanics is a plus but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
