- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on military commercial derivatives, fighter aircraft, and aircraft components.
- Read and interpret wire schematics and diagrams for accurate installations and repairs.
- Execute bonding, resistance, and continuity checks independently.
- Locate proper wire routing and conduct AC / DC power checks.
- Complete wiring installations per specifications, including proper spacing, cable tie usage, and connector handling.
- Perform wiring terminations such as stripping, crimping, and soldering.
- Use electrical tools such as crimpers, megohmmeters, multimeters, and bond meters proficiently.
- Install specialized cabling, including fiber optics and coaxial cables.
- Conduct air data testing and scheduled maintenance tasks on avionic and electrical systems.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, tool inventories, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure the delivery of quality results on time.
- Support team efforts, embracing diversity and inclusion, and report issues as part of an open safety culture. Qualifications :
- Education : High School Diploma / GED
- Clearance : Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Experience :
- 6 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic ( Experience in either commercial or defense or relevant trade apprenticeship would be considered ).
- 6 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred Qualifications :
- FAA Airframe and / or Power Plant certification.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance practices, including Human Factors, FOD control, and health & safety standards. Your Recruiter Still have questions?
