- Prepare aircraft exteriors for painting, including surface preparation, masking, and layout work.
- Apply primers, paints, and specialized coatings to aircraft surfaces according to specifications.
- Perform external aircraft markings using detailed patterns and templates.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace painting standards and quality control requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and handle adhesives, sealants, and coatings per industry regulations. Qualifications :
- Educational Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Clearance Requirements :
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience Requirements :
- 2 years of experience in aircraft painting, coatings application, and surface preparation.
