Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Roof Consultant

Our Ideal Outside Sales Representative:
- Coachable: We are willing to train on our products and industry. Some construction experience is preferred. We will provide a training program, a sales coach, and weekly sales meetings to help you learn and excel.
- Experience: Must have prior outside sales experience. Able to identify leads, build relationships, and close sales.
- Hunter: You will have leads to start out with, but you will also be responsible for identifying and connecting with new potential customers.
- Outgoing: Must love meeting new people and developing relationships. A repair contract handled well can often turn into a preventative maintenance contract and an ongoing relationship with that customer.
- Determined: In Sales, you will hear “No” more than “Yes,” and the tenacity and grit to continue forward are critical!
- Active: Although most of the position will be “on the ground,” there will be times when you will be expected to take measurements or assess aspects of the job. This will involve climbing a ladder to the top of a flat roof.
- Career-Focused: Someone excited to learn, advance, and take on more responsibilities as we continue to grow.
- Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Driven to do a great job. Skilled at relating to people. Will take ownership of work.
- Computer Savvy: Familiar with Microsoft Office products (including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel), strong typing skills, able to easily navigate the web and do research, willing to learn our CRM, comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and learning new apps.
