Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Registered Water Well Drilling Contractor and Well Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water well systems and perform a variety of tasks. Offering on-the-job training with many benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment used for drilling and well servicing.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water wells and related equipment
- Perform site preparation tasks, including clearing debris, setting up work areas, operating excavators, and other heavy equipment.
- Complying with safety standards, state rules, regulations and perform efficiency checks of equipment.
- Maintain inventory levels, load and unload materials, tools, and supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize paperless software to create Service Calls, Work Orders, Estimates and Invoices.
- Discuss work with customers and collect payment at the time of service.
- Pull permits, maintain Wellogic records, collect water samples and record documents in Business Pro Software.
- Answer phones on call after hour rotation, create service calls and manage schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid certificate of Registered Water Well Drilling Contractor or equivalent for Water Supply and Sewer Systems of Public Health
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, well, softener instillation or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Computer, Email, Text knowledge.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, organized, efficient and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
