What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheese Operations Associate position at Mosinee Cold Storage?
Overview
We are seeking an energetic person to help run the cheese room. This would entitle delivering cheese to the people cleaning the cheese and also at times help seal cheese on the sealers or sometimes run in-between both the person delivering cheese and the person sealing cheese to be their helper. This position is hiring for 3 people.
Duties
- Keep all cheese cleaners full of blocks of cheese.
- Bring pallets of cheese in from warehouse to cheese room.
- Asist with using barrel cutter to cut barrels.
- Keep floors as tidy as possible.
- Clean cheese room after shift is done cleaning cheese.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe and clean cheese room.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Experience working with cheese would be a plus but not needed.
- Forklift certification preferred. (Can certify on job.)
