About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intake Operator at Mullins Cheese. As a key member of our milk intake team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw milk products.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload raw product from truck and ensure the interior of the bulk tank is washed and sanitized daily.
- Document and maintain accurate records for loads and cleanings.
- Sample load/cow samples for antibiotics, pH, and other possible inadequacies.
- Wash/sanitize bulk tank interior, hose and pump compartment, vents, and vent covers via manual or automatic controls.
- Maintain a clean work environment, clean wash tanks, and complete documentation required by agriculture agencies and/or the dairy plant.
- Comply with all processes and procedures of SQF 2000 to assure safe, quality product.
- Report loads that are positive for antibiotics or other milk inadequacies.
