Mosquito Control Technician (Seasonal – April through October)
Location: Wayne, NJ
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: 35 – 40 hours per week

About Us:
Mosquito Joe of Wayne is leading the charge in protecting our community from pesky mosquitoes. As we gear up for the season, we’re on the hunt for passionate and driven individuals to join our mosquito control team. Responsibilities:
- Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess mosquito activity and identify breeding areas.
- Apply mosquito control treatments using larvicides and adulticides.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments and mosquito activity.
- Regularly inspect and repair equipment to ensure it’s in peak condition.
- Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on how to prevent future mosquito problems.
- Work collaboratively with your team to maintain high standards of service.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with industry regulations.
- Promote and represent Mosquito Joe’s services to clients with enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
- Able to lift and carry 40-60 lbs of equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Prior mosquito control experience or certification is a plus, but not required – we’ll train you!
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A valid and clean driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle to and from job sites.
- Friendly and professional demeanor, with a willingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
