What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf - Outside Services Attendant position at Moss Creek Owners Association?
SUMMARY
Outside Services works under direct supervision of the Outside Services Team Leader and the Assistant Golf Professionals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and welcomes members and their guests.
- Cleans and stores member's golf clubs and equipment.
- Cleans and stocks golf cars daily or as needed.
- Charges and details golf cars, as needed.
- Maintains the driving range tee in an orderly manner and stocks it with range balls.
- Works with maintenance staff for monthly maintenance of the electric golf cars.
- Pre-loads golf bags onto golf cars and stages golf cars for daily play and for tournaments.
- Keeps bag room, cart barn and working areas clean and orderly.
- Learn the daily opening and closing procedures and point-of-sale operations and tournament software to fulfill requirement of PGA apprentice program
- Keeps Assistant Golf Pros informed of supply par levels and reports unusable golf cars.
- Occasionally rangers the golf course for slow play and to see if all players have properly checked in.
- Helps Professional staff on a daily basis.
- Attends mandatory staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned

Individual must be friendly, outgoing, and enjoy people. Individual must be a good organizer, display good interpersonal skills, be skilled at working with others, and enjoy working outdoors. This is an entry level position for an individual with qualifications to enter the PGA Apprentice Program.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Those aspiring to become PGA Apprentices should have a minimum of an Associate's degree.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Outside Services employees should have good communication skills, with the ability to converse and understand MCOA members and staff with fluency.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Outside Services employees need basic computer skills, including the ability to use the Internet.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Minimal math skills are needed in this position.
REASONING ABILITY
Outside Services employees have the ability to solve problems with minimal assistance.

None are needed for this position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Outside Services employees must be able to stand for long periods of time. They must have the ability to lift and carry fifty pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outside Services employees work primarily outdoors and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
