What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Outside Services Attendant position at Troon?
Belfair is a beautiful private community located in Bluffton, SC with convenient access to Hilton Head, Savannah, and Beaufort.
We are looking for a full-time attendant to assist with our Golf Outside Services Department. The position will deliver exceptional service to our membership while serving as an ambassador for the golf department. The position will assist at both the driving range and in the cart barn and staging areas.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
- Must be organized, efficient and detail oriented.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with guests and fellow workers.
- Must be dependable, with a good work ethic.
- Golf knowledge is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provides a memorable member and guest experience.
- Is team oriented and anticipates member needs.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Bring golf carts from the cart barn to cart staging area.
- Greet guests at designated bag drop area and loads bags onto carts.
- Gives directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc.
- Transports range balls to driving range and fills appropriate containers.
- Operates range picker on range to retrieve balls.
- Returns carts to cart barn and washes carts with pressure cleaner, parks carts in designated spaces and connects charger cables (where applicable) in a safe manner to avoid damage.
- Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
- The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
- The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Moderate exposure to heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.
