Real Estate Closing Coordinator
Moss Home Solutions, the leading real estate wholesaling company in New England, is seeking RE Closing Coordinator to join our growing, dynamic team. This position involves managing all the administrative tasks involved in closing a deal, ensuring that all the necessary documents are in order, and communicating with various parties (buyers, sellers, agents, title companies, attorneys, lenders, etc.) to finalize the sale or purchase of a property.

Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation and Review:
- Prepare closing documents, such as the deed, settlement statement, and loan documents.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with state laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with title companies to confirm title reports and resolve issues.
- Communication with Parties Involved:
- Act as the liaison between buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys, and lenders.
- Schedule and confirm closing appointments.
- Ensure all parties are aware of their obligations and the closing date.
- Transaction Management:
- Track deadlines and ensure all contingencies are met.
- Oversee the transfer of funds, including escrow disbursement.
- Monitor and confirm that all inspections, appraisals, and insurance are completed before closing.
- Title and Legal Compliance:
- Ensure the property title is clear of any issues.
- Work with the closing attorney (if applicable) to ensure all legal requirements are met.
Post-Closing Duties:
- File relevant documents with local authorities, such as deeds and mortgage paperwork.
- Distribute keys and final paperwork to the new owner.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in real estate or related fields, such as legal or title work, is often preferred.
- Knowledge of Rhode Island Real Estate Law: Understanding the specific real estate laws and regulations in Rhode Island is crucial.
- Attention to Detail: The job requires careful attention to details, as real estate transactions can involve numerous forms and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with different parties involved in the transaction.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep track of various timelines.
Tools and Software:
- Familiarity with real estate management software, Dotloop, DocuSign, and other closing coordination tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for document management and communication.
Certifications and Education:
While formal certifications may not always be required, some employers may prefer candidates who have completed courses in real estate or are licensed as real estate agents or paralegals.

Compensation & Schedule:
- $80,000-90,000 year base salary
- Office hours are from 8 am to 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and work from home every Wednesday
