Total Compensation ranging from ($50 to $75k ) – Depending on Experience

What You Will Do:

• Gather job information
• Communicate with clients to assess job specifics
• Perform detailed plan and quantity take-offs
• Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors as necessary
• Determine production rates and crew sizes
• Use information gathered to build estimates of cost for each project
• Compile data into a neat and detailed proposal to present to the client
• Hand off successful projects and communicate details to project supervisor

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office·
• Strong math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to learn

Skills Preferred:

• Prior experience in asphalt or concrete paving
• Prior construction estimating experience is value
• Plan reading experience or classes
• Understanding of site grading, slope, and water runoff
• Experience with takeoff and/or estimating software
