The Role
The Cafe Manager is the Director of Operations' right hand. They are laser-focused on learning, growing, and improving while working closely with the team to check off their to-do lists. The Cafe Manager is the first in line to cover any shifts that cannot be covered at the cafes. They help with errands, deliveries, ordering, inventory, double-checking numbers, scheduling and attending one-on-one reviews, and various administrative tasks. The Cafe Manager spends the majority of their time in the cafes being an extra set of eyes and ears for the Director of Operations.
The Cafe Managers primary purpose is to support the Director of Operations by working closely with caf baristas and assisting with the daily operations and management of the cafes. The Cafe Manager will learn what it means to be an active listener, be dedicated to the culture we are creating, and be a proactive problem solver.
