What You'll Do
- Drive direct customer acquisition through earned media
- Establish Mothership as a thought leader on current events in logistics by inserting us early and with meaningful content to the audience
- Create narratives around new technologies Mothership is working on that are far ahead of the industry
- Partner with customers and legacy providers to create and promote use cases and collaboration
- Research and arrange tradeshow attendance including talks, firesides, product demos and media meetings
- Work with marketing to draw up press releases on new products, features and services then make sure they get coverage
- Research and arrange podcast and other media appearances for executives and product leaders in the company
Qualifications
- 5 years in external comms with an emphasis on using it for company growth
- A portfolio that is quantifiably responsible for growth at each company
- Track record of building, maintaining, and leveraging a large number of media relationships at top outlets
- Exceptional project management and presentation skills
- Desire to be on a purely merit-based team, not a family, with no politics and big aspirations
- Naturally a self-motivated, self-managed, nights and weekends kind of work personality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or English is preferred, but your work portfolio is what’s most important; results over education
Salary : $146,000 - $175,200
