Pay: Up to $21 per hour DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our client, a global pharmaceutical company. In this role, the ideal candidate will independently perform laboratory tasks, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to established procedures and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in laboratory operations and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory activities, including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and routine testing of client samples.
• Conduct routine tests of release and/or stability samples and demonstrate proficiency in various testing methods within the laboratory.
• Analyze data, report experimental results, and generate routine cGMP and R&D reports.
• Conduct peer reviews of data for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.
• Oversee instrumentation and equipment maintenance, and manage common stock preparation and inventory of materials.
• Adhere to all pertinent regulatory standards, including cGMP guidelines, and follow SOPs and testing protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of laboratory work and compose high-quality reports, including deviation and change control documentation as required.
• Participate in laboratory operations and maintain up-to-date training records.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with laboratory procedures, testing, and data analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with cGMP standards, laboratory protocols, and safety guidelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Physical Demands:

• Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for tools and controls.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Regular communication and exchange of accurate information.

Work Environment:

• General office and laboratory settings; noise level is typically quiet.
• Regular use of PPE (lab coat, gloves, closed-toe shoes) in the laboratory area.
