POSITION SUMMARY
You’ll be at the forefront of automation technology, qualifying prospects in Southwest Michigan territory, conducting product demonstrations, and providing consultative sales solutions to help manufacturers optimize their operations. Working closely with inside Applications Engineers and Manufacturer Reps, you’ll develop solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
This is a remote position and must live in the territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Automation of technical hardware specification and system design
- Maintain technical aptitude on all of the Automation product lines
- Interface with customers, MCE OSR’s, and manufacturers as a customer and vendor support resource
- Design, implement, and refine project control narratives, quotations, and sales presentations to end customers
- Vendor relationship management as designated
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience outside sales
- Proficient with computers and basic business software
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proven project management skills
