The Trusted Partner Network (TPN) is a global, industry-wide media and entertainment content security initiative and community network wholly owned by the Motion Picture Association, Inc. (MPA). The MPA Content Security Best Practices, maintained by the TPN, establish a single benchmark for security preparedness. TPN assessments measure a Service Provider’s current security posture for site and application against the MPA Best Practices and for Content Owners to use the status to make their own independent risk-based decisions.

Reporting to the VP, Operations and Program Management, the Security Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the TPN program, including supporting the Content Security Assessment and TPN Accredited Assessor programs. The successful candidate will lead initiatives across TPN’s organization from strategy through implementation, while maintaining a high level of quality across inter-connected projects. They will be self-motivated, have a continuous improvement mindset, strong analytical and communication skills, with a desire to raise the bar for Content Security in the Media and Entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Security Operations Management
- Knowledge of the TPN processes and the industry it serves
- Manage TPN enhancements, including writing requirements and testing as needed
- Support the TPN ticketing system, including responding to inquiries and issues
- Provide timely and accurate response to TPN member’s day-to-day queries
- Work with MPA IT to maintain and update the TPN website
- Creative and timely problem solving as required
- Collaborate with other TPN team members to agree SOP updates as needed
- MPA Best Practices
- Maintain the Best Practices and Additional Recommendations final document
- Ensure updates are made accurately and timely
- Work with required stakeholders, including MPA Members, to capture feedback and suggestions
- Manage the Best Practices in the TPN platform, including versioning, questions, answers, scoping, logic, framework control mapping, control matching, evidence types, and certifications
- Ensure the Best Practices are published accurately and appropriately
- Quality Control
- QC TPN assessments in the TPN platform
- Provide feedback to Assessors in the TPN platform, including follow up training as needed
- Verify updates are made sufficiently
- Approve assessments and provide final scores
- Verify uploaded non-TPN certifications meet criteria and action accordingly
- Identify QC trends and address TPN SOPS and policies as needed
- Remediation Plan Management
- Track and manage assessment remediation updates and timelines in the TPN platform
- Follow up with Service Providers on lapsed remediation items as needed
- Verify remediation updates and evidence from Service Providers and action accordingly
- Identify trends and update SOPs and provide training as needed
- Develop and present regular metrics and reporting
- Work with required stakeholders, including MPA members, to capture issues, feedback, suggestions and action accordingly

- Provide strategic input for planning and implementation

- Works closely with the MPA IT, Legal and Finance teams and adhere to MPA policies regarding data governance, to ensure that TPN data is managed, secure, accurate, audited and documented
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Information Security or Content Security required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations or Project Management required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Media and Entertainment industry required
- Jira account management experience required
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong process mapping experience in creating current state process maps, identifying pain points, redundancies and opportunities, and devising optimal future state workflows
- Information Security Auditor certification is a plus
- Familiarity with MPA Content Security Best Practices is a plus
