Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's/University degree.
- 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
- Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
- Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
- Must have strong Excel reporting skills (pivot table, if/and statements)
- Experience working with large datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
- Strong investigation and problem solving skills
- Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
- Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
- SQL/VBA a plus
- Investigate and resolve Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk.
- Assist with Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting
- Provide regular management updates and status reports
- Participate in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks
- Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
