Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Credit & Price Risk Business Analyst on a long-term contract basis.

Summary :
The Credit & Price Risk Execution team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally. Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control of environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business. Responsibilities include : Investigating and resolving Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk; Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting; Providing regular management updates and status reports; Participation in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks; Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management.
Responsibilities :
Investigate and resolve Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk.
Assist with Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting
Provide regular management updates and status reports
Participate in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks
Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
Required Skills :
5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
Must possess excellent written and communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
Strong investigation and problem solving skills
Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
Pay : $32-41 per hour.
