A leading distributor of petroleum products used in automotive, commercial, and industrial applications in North America is seeking to grow their team.
They are looking to bring on a mid to senior level Network Security Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. The company aims to acquire 3-4 small companies a year, so the ideal candidate has experience integrating different network infrastructures together. The role is going to be fairly 50/50 for network and security functionality. Tech wise they need someone strong with Cisco Meraki, Barracuda SonicWall firewalls, Sophos, and Unifi on the network side. Also having SOC Compliance, vulnerability scanning, EDR, incident response, and NIDS/NIPS experience on the security side.
This is a direct hire role with hybrid flexibility (2-3 days onsite once fully ramped up) located in Norcross, Georgia. Required Skills & Experience

- 3 years of relevant industry experience in IT network admin/security management
- Cisco Meraki
- Firewalls- Barracuda, SonicWall
- Sophos
- Unifi
- Security- SOC Compliance, vulnerability scanning, EDR, incident response, NIDS/NIPS experience
- Industry certifications are a plus- CCNA or Security certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with distribution or logistics systems is a plus.
