Instructional Designer/e-Learning Trainer
Location: Memphis, TN (hybrid work assignment. Can work from home when developing training materials but must be on-site when delivering in-person training sessions or meeting with various departments and groups.)
Job Type: Contract – 12 months

- Seeking a mid-level instructor to help facilitate and develop training for Workday.
- This role will also involve meeting with various departments and groups to:
- Understand their challenges and training needs
- Determine if training materials already exist and, if not, develop the necessary resources
- Deliver training sessions when needed to address identified challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in virtual and in-person instructor-led training
- Ability to develop training materials, including written guides and computer-based training (CBT)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and e-learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar software
- Quick learner—able to adapt to new systems and processes efficiently
Analytical Skills
- Ability to assess training needs and tailor instructional approaches accordingly
- Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and making continuous improvements
- Strong problem-solving skills to enhance training delivery
Communication Skills
- Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills—keeps audiences engaged
- Strong writing skills for creating training materials and documentation
- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them clearly
- Comfortable with handling Q&A and interacting with diverse groups
Organizational Skills
- Ability to manage multiple training sessions and content development projects
- Strong attention to detail when structuring training sessions
- Capable of working independently while ensuring alignment with business objectives
