Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5-7 network engineers and administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and optimize Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and wireless systems.
- Manage and configure firewalls to maintain robust security and compliance.
- Ensure efficient operation and enhancement of Unified Communications (CUCM/UC) systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing escalation support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with organizational goals.
- Develop and enforce best practices, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with emerging network technologies and recommend strategic improvements.
- Proven experience in network management, with a strong technical background in Cisco networking, firewalls, and Unified Communications (CUCM/UC).
- Hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
