We are seeking a skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at Motion Recruitment. The position involves leading a SAFE First Culture, ensuring the facility complies with safety and environmental programs, regulations, and company policy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing location standards, policies, and practices to ensure they are current and in concert with company and/or regulatory requirements
- Working with the Safety Manager to revise as necessary
- Training associates, supervisors, and other employees in general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements, and specific job requirements
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and minimum 1-3 years' experience in safety & environmental or engineering role are required. The candidate should have knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and OH DEP regulations and be familiar with job safety analysis process.
