This role is hybrid in Nashville, Tennessee - alternating 2 - 3 days a week in office. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of API technologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering and managing API products.

What You’ll Do
- Establish and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the API product portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize features and improvements based on market trends, customer input, and company goals.
- Develop and uphold a detailed and realistic product roadmap for the API offerings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, marketing, and sales, to guarantee alignment with organizational priorities.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to collect requirements, understand customer needs, and ensure successful product launches.
- Interact with customers to gather feedback and insights, driving continuous product enhancement.
- Collaborate with development teams to define API specifications, focusing on scalability, security, and user-friendliness.
- Develop and maintain thorough API documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience working with public facing APIs
- Strong knowledge of API design principles and RESTful architecture.
- Familiarity with API management tools and platforms.
- Proficient with the OpenAPI specification and using Swagger for API documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure-based applications.
- Experience implementing user tracking and engagement metrics to analyze API usage patterns.
- Understanding of potential API abuse and strategies to mitigate such risks.
- Experience working in Agile environments and writing Agile user stories in Jira or other issue tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with the creative field or music industry
