The Vice President of Technology will play a critical role in the development, execution, and ongoing innovation of the company’s technological vision. This individual will work closely with all aspects of the company, including product development, engineering, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in building complex, full-stack solutions and will have experience taking products from R&D through to market launch and scaling. Experience with embedded IoT systems and AI is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technology strategy and execution across hardware and software domains, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from early-stage R&D to full-scale production, ensuring timely delivery of products that meet the company’s high standards for quality and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and leadership, to define and drive the company’s technology roadmap.
- Manage and scale a diverse, multi-disciplinary technology team, fostering collaboration and innovation to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of software and hardware systems, with a strong focus on product stability, scalability, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in the areas of IoT, embedded systems, and software architectures.
- Contribute to the company’s AI-driven product innovations, leveraging the latest advancements in artificial intelligence to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Work closely with supply chain management to ensure smooth hardware manufacturing processes, including quality control and testing procedures.
- Lead the continuous improvement of product lifecycle management, from ideation through market launch and post-launch scaling.
- Establish and maintain best practices for software and hardware development, ensuring the highest standards of security, performance, and user experience.
- Serve as a key advisor to the executive team, providing insights and guidance on technology trends and product development strategy.
