What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Content Developer position at Motion Recruitment?
Our client, a major financial institution, is actively looking for a Content Web Developer to join their team in Atlanta, NYC, or Phoenix. This is a hybrid position, so the candidate will need to be able to be onsite 3 days a week in one of those locations.
This begins as a 6 month contract with an opportunity to extend or convert at any time
Responsibilities :
Help create pages on the internal colleague-facing website
Manage content on internal website
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree
3-5 years of experience working with Content Management Systems
Strong experience creating, editing, and managing content on webpages
A strong understanding of the Umbraco / Unily platform or any content management system
Familiarity with HTML, CSS and basic web design principles and information architecture
Understanding of content taxonomy and techniques to enhance the discoverability of content and how content is optimized for search engines
Comfortable with designing simple, visually attractive web pages compliant with brand guidelines to communicate educational and informative content clearly to end users
