We are looking for a Claims Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our clients receive the benefits they deserve while navigating the complexities of health insurance claims. As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and adjudicating claims effectively and efficiently. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly, always putting the client’s best interests at the forefront of your work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Load, review and adjudicate claims submitted by providers and members electronically and by paper
- Consistently meet processing accuracy and volume standards
- Identify and resolve problematic claim issues, quality concerns, and other member or provider issues and appropriately escalate
- Document all encounters and actions
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of MotivHealth claims processes and tools
- Maintain compliance, privacy and confidentiality in all documentation, communications and correspondence
- Contribute to team wide goals to improve claims processes and integrate additional functions into our operations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 2 years working as a claim analyst/processor at a health insurance or closely related company required
- Knowledge of HCFA and UB claim processes
- Medical terminology, CPT, ICD and Revenue Coding familiarity
- Self-motivated, hardworking, organized and detail oriented
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills who contributes to building high performing teams
- Ability to work independently and takes initiative to improve process and procedures
- Tenacious investigator who enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems
Salary : $21 - $23
