About the Role:

The Event Marketing Manager is a critical part of our Demand Generation team and will work from our Lehi, UT office (we are hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days from home). This is a high-visibility role responsible for managing our overall events and trade show strategy and execution as well as internal employee events, including our annual MVer’s Club event for all employees. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving leads and opportunities that impact revenue growth as well as increasing our brand awareness in ways that help position Motivosity as a leader in the Employee Recognition space. We’re looking for a visionary individual who loves the creative element of events, but who also has unmatched negotiation and project management skills. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, a little bit “extra”, data-driven, and process-oriented. And more importantly, you’ll have a proven track record of being a great partner to Sales.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to determine our annual events strategy and plan, including large trade shows and smaller chapter or vertical-specific shows
  • Research events within our target market
  • Forecast, set, and measure goals for assigned events
  • Manage contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and the events budget
  • Work with the Creative team and booth vendor to create compelling booth designs that attract a crowd
  • Work with Product Marketing and Content Marketing to ensure clear booth messaging and updated collateral
  • Manage event swag and design engaging and meaningful booth activities/games
  • Ensure each event is staffed appropriately and everyone is trained on expectations, schedules, dress code, product pitches, and lead capture processes
  • Manage and execute on all event logistics with great attention to detail and deadlines
  • Coordinate pre and post event communication strategies to drive attendance and capture market-ready prospects
  • Work with Revenue Ops to ensure proper event attribution and reporting
  • Manage an internal employee events calendar and budget, including coordinating our annual MVer’s Club event
  • Coordinate and book travel, lodging, and transportation details
  • Help coordinate customer events with the Customer Success team occasionally

Experience and Skills Needed:

  • 4 years of Event Marketing experience in B2B SaaS (bonus points if you have experience in the HR tech space)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Willingness and availability to travel regularly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor in communicating with vendors
  • Demonstrable experience managing trade shows or events that have driven value and results to the business
  • Demonstrable experience in booth design/conceptualization that draws positive attention
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally as a partner to internal teams, including Finance
  • Team player and collaborative, positive attitude
  • Bias to action and a builder mentality
