Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers and offering expert advice on parts, accessories, and gear.
- Assist customers in identifying the right products for their specific powersports vehicles, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and performance.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the powersports parts and accessories inventory, including motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft, and snowmobiles.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, new products, and advancements in technology.
- Utilize inventory management systems such as LightSpeed to efficiently track, monitor, and manage inventory.
- Assist in receiving, tagging, stocking, and organizing inventory, ensuring proper product availability.
- Answer phone calls promptly and provide accurate, professional assistance.
- Use sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities (aiming for at least two items per transaction).
- Collaborate with the sales and merchandising teams to maintain visually appealing and organized product displays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information in the dealership’s system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide post-purchase support.
- Assist with product installations, troubleshooting, and resolving customer concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Adhere to all parts department processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Passion for powersports and extensive knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, and snowmobiles.
- Strong customer service and sales skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (preferably LightSpeed or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and processing customer orders.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs for stocking and organizing inventory.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with industry trends, manufacturers, and aftermarket brands.
- Problem-solving skills to assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Previous experience in parts sales or the powersports industry preferred.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions while ensuring accuracy and security.
