Job Title: Service Manager – RV Outfitters of Texas
Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Service Manager to join our team at RV Outfitters of Texas, a premier RV service center in Nacogdoches, TX. As the Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the satisfaction of our valued RV customers. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, assessing their service needs, preparing repair orders, communicating with technicians, and following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with friendly and professional demeanor, establishing rapport and building trust.
- Actively listen to customers' concerns and thoroughly assess their service needs, gathering detailed information about their motorhomes and the issues they are experiencing.
- Schedule appointments, accurately document customer information and service requests in the company's management system, ensuring all details are captured and maintained.
- Create repair orders, specifying the work to be performed, estimated labor costs, and required parts.
- Effectively communicate with technicians, conveying customer concerns, repair orders, and any additional information pertinent to the service work.
- Coach and train Service Advisors and Service Technicians.
- Monitor and improve shop productivity and morale.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their repairs, addressing their inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Once repairs are completed, review the work performed and ensure it aligns with customer expectations.
- Collect payments from customers, process invoices and handle transactions in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Continuously strive to enhance customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive or RV industry preferred.
- Strong management and organizational skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of motorhome systems preferred, including mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, with the patient disposition to effectively convey technical information to customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and automotive repair software preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset, proven experience in sales with a passion for providing exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Must be able to pass a background check, have a good driving record, and pass a drug screen.
