Operations Manager - Fiberglass of Texas Job Summary:

The Operations Manager of Fiberglass of Texas (FOT) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficient processes, managing resources, maintaining quality control and leading teams to achieve organizational goals.

Pay Structure: Salary Commission

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 5-7 years management experience
• 5 years marine or automotive industry paint and body / fiberglass experience.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hire and train shop staff.
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of shop employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  
  

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare maintenance schedules for service orders.
• Maintain database of maintenance and repair records.
• Oversee shop inventory; order parts, shop supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure applicable safety standards and regulations are followed in the facility.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding their repairs.
• Customer Complaints / Customer Satisfaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience working with fiberglass preferred.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to physically perform repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
