Mortgage Loan Processor

Position: Loan Processor

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Officers and clients to gather and verify necessary documentation for loan applications.
• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documents are present and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain any missing information or additional documentation as needed.
• Conduct thorough analysis of applicant's financial information, including income, credit history, and assets.
• Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval, following established procedures and timelines.
• Maintain regular communication with all parties involved in the loan process, providing updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure all loan files are accurately documented and organized for timely loan closings.
• Stay current on industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Loan Processor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processing procedures, industry regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review and analyze complex financial documents.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Proficient in using loan origination software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
