Production Team Lead - Molding Department
Reports to : Molding Supervisor
Location : Battle Creek, MI
20.16 / hour based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide leadership to all teams and follow / enforce safety guidelines
- Provide production associates with needed training and orientation to the department and job
- Inspect parts for quality per standard and enforce quality guidelines
- Work effectively with team members to trouble shoot quality and / or production issues
- Change machines over, perform needed preventative maintenance and keep abreast of how to run new parts and operate new machine innovation
- Know different types of material in department and to make sure everyone follows Kanban system
- Complete department paperwork and required training programs as well as keeping areas organized with 5S principles
