Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School is a 7-12 school with approximately 600 students from four vibrant Addison County towns. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster positive relationships with students, be organized, and work collaboratively with teachers and administrators. Our desired candidate will be able to plan, organize, and implement a proficiency-based instructional program aligned with the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies State Standards in a middle/high school learning environment, that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. We are excited to bring someone into our learning community who will engage all students in the process of social studies content and skills in a proficiency-based system, while learning transferable skills that will prepare them for success as engaged students and productive community members and citizens of our society.
