What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer coordinator position at Mount Ascutney Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY
The ViA Coordinator has the responsibility for the coordination of the day-to-day activities and the program management of this neighbor helping neighbor effort in the Mt.
Ascutney area as well as volunteers at MAHHC. In addition, the Coordinator will supervise the ViA Program Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience :
- Work / life balance that pertains to this effort.
- Ability and interest in working closely with community organizations.
- Demonstrated excellent people skills with the ability to speak to groups.
- Ability to write legibility with good grammar.
- Office skills to include familiarity with computers and record keeping.
- Experience and good judgment in screening, orientation, and assessment of volunteers
